PANAMA HATTY'S RESTAURANT
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKINGS

BOOKINGS
At Panama Hatty's we operate a system of pre booked tables to ensure, as much as possible, that you have a smooth and trouble free visit to the restaurant.

We can at certain times accommodate a limited number of people who wish to dine without a reservation, but during week-end nights it is often very difficult to provide a table on a chance basis, so booking in advance is advised.

Generally, a booking will be taken from you over the phone or by calling in to the restaurant, - the details of the date, time and number of guests will be entered into the reservations book and you will be asked to verbally confirm these details. A contact telephone number will be recorded which may be used to confirm your booking nearer to the time.

On busy occasions and most week-end nights we operate a timed sittings system and allocate approximately 2.5 hours for you to dine. Should we require your table for the next booking we will ask you to relocate to the lounge where a comfortable area will be found for you. These are scheduled at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, and 9.30pm. If you arrive late for your table, we may have to reschedule your reservation to the next available time, however, it may be necessary to cancel the booking completely if we feel that other guests will be inconvenienced.

The time of your booking is the time we expect to take your food order, therefore we recommend an earlier arrival, to meet friends, review the menu and have a pre dinner drink. Sometimes, beyond our control, guests over-run their sitting which may cause a slight delay – we will make every effort to minimise any inconvenience to you.

DEPOSITS
A request for a deposit may be made depending on the time, date and size of the booking. This request is at the management's discretion.

Deposits are charged at £10 per head and for everbodys convenience a single credit/debit card payment will be required from the organiser to secure the booking.

Whilst we endeavour to be reasonable at all times, if, at the manager's discretion, the correct notice of alteration or cancellation of the booking has not been given, we reserve the right to retain some or all of the deposit.

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OR ALTERATION
For large groups or for busy nights, we will telephone you, usually on the booking day, to confirm that the number booked remains unchanged. However, we ask that you inform us beforehand, if the numbers in your group change significantly from that booked. Any reasonable alterations to the number booked may be made up to 4 pm, (the deadline for the notice period), on the day of booking without affecting your deposit (if applicable).

If you wish to cancel your booking entirely, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice in order for your deposit to be returned in full
